Viva Occasions was established in 2010, after a history of watching my Mam and Nana Thompson baking and decorating various cakes as a hobby for friends and family for over 20 years. I loved to join in and watch their amazing work turn into some of the best works of art I’ve ever seen. Although tastes and designs have changes somewhat! To be able to carry on their passion through the business is the most rewarding experience.
Consultations are free of charge and available either at Viva Occasions or we can travel to you! We can create a new cake for you or you can bring along designs you have seen and we can personalise the theme to compliment your special day, whatever the occasion.
A 3 month notice period is required for wedding cakes and 1 month for all other celebration cakes. However, do call us as depending on our diary, we may still be able to accept your order. A 20% deposit is required to book the date of your cake and secure your order.
Free delivery and setup is available within the Sunderland area. Delivery charges outside the area are available upon request. If the cake is collection we cannot be held liable for any damage once it has left us. Full payment is required 25 days before the event.
Stand hire is also available for £10, plus a £50 returnable deposit. Stands must be returned within the 7 days following the event. If the stand is damaged, your deposit will not be refunded.
All deposits are non-refundable should you cancel your order.
